Things to stop your wedding invitation ribbons from fraying:

Nail polish: Usually one of the better methods, just dab a little on you may be able to see it if you go to heavy.

Hairspray: Works also but can change the overall color of the ribbon

Wax: Also works can get messy

Burning: A slightly more risk one but slightly burning the edge can stop fraying

Fray stopper: available at sowing shops, made to stop fraying!

When you do pick your paper make sure the layer that you print on isn’t over textured as your printable wedding invitations won’t come out. If you do want to use textured paper overlaying is usually the best way to get around this.

Home printing and vellum paper

Transparent paper also known as vellum paper can often be used to print text onto and overlay a picture or paper. When printing your wedding invitations make sure that you work out what side is the printable side of the vellum before sending 100 plus prints off. Usually it is the textured side as the smooth side will not absorb or hold the ink!
